A young man of sixteen, as a watcher
With ships as his prime delight, the ugly
Girl who believes she is beautiful to bother him.
In a bathtub his three set moles can be seen.
Adopted by Honda, the old lawyer of much money,
He accepted and set up plans to hurt his father.
With lies, manipulation and sex, he ruled his home.
As the old man cowered, but finding out he is an empty
Shell, the hollow fourth mole, the decayed angel of Kiyoaki:
He drank poison, blinding himself  and offering up only
Silence.

*This poem was inspired by Yukio Mishima’s novel ‘The Decay of the Angel‘.
