We just got back from our first Pilgrimage. We went to Saint Winefride’s Well in Holywell, Flintshire, Wales. She was an early Saint who was executed for rejecting a local prince’s advances, she was beheaded as a virgin, and a well was miraculously sprung where her head landed, she was then later resurrected and kept the scar on her neck to mark her beheading and martyrdom. People go to the Well to dip in the water for healing and have done for over one thousand years. We celebrated Liturgy and took a dip ourselves, here are some photos and videos of our time there.
